On a steamy, insomnia-filled night like this, I enjoy perusing the ‘net for things that scare the shit out of me. Fortunately, a couple of new tracks from Narcotic Puppeteers have me freaked out enough that I can forgo 3am viewings of “Suspiria” and research on Joe D’Amato’s gore classic “Anthrophagus.”
If you like space-age tempered starkness, you’ll enjoy the multi-layered pulse of “The Square Root of H8.” If you’re into icy climes, you’ll love “Road Trippin with Hunter.” Hell, just listen and love ‘em all anyway.
